Product Description

2019 Season  ...  108 Mantis Eggs Now AvailableFor Sale.

If you are thinking about raising or selling Chinese mantis eggs or nymphs here is a great deal for you.

108 Chinese Praying Mantis Eggs

We keep the mantis eggs at 54 degrees F.  They will not enter into the hatching stage until you increase the temperature.

A Must for Green Houses and Gardens.

When placed in the garden or green house, Mantis can be a natural and safe way to control pest insects.

To keep the eggs from hatching you need to keep them at around 55 degrees F.

Do not let them dry out.  Keep a damp paper towel in with the eggs.

To Hatch Mantis Eggs:

The eggs should be lightly misted every other day as they need some moisture to hatch.

Do not place near a heat source that is over 80 degrees F.

Do not keep the Mantis Egg under 65 degrees F.

Ideally the temperature should be between 75 and 80 degrees F.

The mantis nymphs will be very small when they hatch.

If you plan on raising any to adult size, we suggest you visit our eBay store and purchase the melanogaster fruit fly starter culture kit.

Things to keep in mind when hatching your egg case:

If the egg dries out they will not hatch.

If they are placed in direct sunlight and gets too hot, they will not hatch.

If they are kept too wet, they will not hatch.

Some have put the egg case in a freezer thinking this would be the best way to store them until they hatch; that will destroy the mantis nymphs.

As you can appreciate many variables can affect the hatching process.

These egg cases are fresh and if looked after properly, the eggs should hatch in 4 to 6 weeks from the time of delivery.
